Pricing · Alpha program
CareOS is free for every facility in the alpha program — the full product, every update, direct support. No fees, no card, no trial clock. This page is our published plan for what pricing looks like after the alpha, so nobody is ever surprised.
Alpha facilities pay nothing. In exchange, we ask for the things money can’t buy yet: honest feedback from the people who chart, clinical validation of the assessment library, and patience with a product that is still being finished. Alpha participation carries no obligation to continue when paid pricing begins.

You talk to the people building it. Call us at (707) 230-6220 — the same line after the alpha, too.
When paid beta begins (at the V6 release), CareOS will be priced the way software in this category is priced — per resident, not per seat — at the rate the market has already settled on:
Billed only for residents actually in your care. An empty bed costs nothing, and your bill follows your census — down as well as up.
$500 for facilities of 16–60 beds; $0–$125 for homes of 15 beds or fewer. It covers on-site installation, configuration, data setup, and staff training — once, not per user.
Every staff member who charts is included. There is no monthly minimum and no implementation project billed by the hour.
CareOS runs entirely on your facility’s own computers. There is no vendor cloud holding your residents’ data, and you can export your records at any time.
A classic board-and-care home pays less than a single agency shift.
The size of a typical small RCFE — and the going market rate for charting software.
Scales with the home, never with headcount or devices.
The top of our segment — still a per-resident price, with no enterprise tier jump.
For alpha facilities
Facilities that test CareOS during the alpha helped build it, and their paid-beta pricing says so:
Alpha facilities that continue into paid beta pay $400 instead of $500 — and $0–$100 instead of $0–$125 for homes of 15 beds or fewer.
A founding-facility rate of $12 per active resident per month — 20% below the standard $15 — for your first 12 months of paid beta.
Joining the alpha never obligates you to continue. If you do, your founding rate is written into your agreement.
CareOS is alpha software and may experience unexpected issues affecting performance. It is HIPAA secure but not SOC 2 compliant. The rates above are our published plan for paid beta; final rates are confirmed in writing before paid beta launches, and paid agreements include a cap on annual price increases. If anything here ever changes, it changes on this page first.
Tell us about your facility and we’ll walk you through it.
